The review of the 2015 European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) provides diversity and flexibility in terms of methodologies, which in turn leads to innovation. This fact, however, seems to have led to different interpretations of how the ESG should be applied, which has become especially evident with the decisions taken recently by ENQA and EQAR.
The webinar Reflecting on the future of European Quality Assurance will have two different parts: first, ENQA's and EQAR's decisions regarding the interpretation of the 2015 ESG will be analysed, detailing in particular the cases in which the decisions have not been concurrent; secondly, the discussion paper will be presented which contains a number of consequences of the changes that have taken place recently.
