The Institutional and Programme Review Commission wished to strengthen the assessment skills of the experts of its specific commissions by organising a number of training sessions, in which more than 30 experts took part
Firstly, following the publication of Royal Decree 822/2021, of 28 September 2021, establishing the organisation of university education and the quality assurance procedure, which led to an important change – particularly related to the design of degree courses, quality assurance procedures and the format of reports – the Agency has designed two training sessions aimed at the members of the specific commissions by area of knowledge (Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Experimental Sciences, Health Sciences and Engineering and Architecture) with the aim of sharing guidelines for the assessment of reports and establishing a dialogue on the application of assessment criteria.
Furthermore, as a result of the creation of the Specific Commission for Institutional Assessment, its members met on 30 November for training in the assessment procedures and criteria for the certification of the internal quality assurance systems and for the institutional accreditation of centres, as well as in the use of assessment platforms.
The periodic training of AQU Catalunya's experts is one of the measures included in the commitment to good governance of the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, to which the strategic objective of strengthening the continuous training of experts responds.
