The deadline for submitting applications for research and advanced research accreditation to AQU Catalunya is this Friday
On 1 April, a new application period will open for teaching staff to seek accreditation, which will be assessed based on the LOSU-adapted criteria approved by the Research Assessment Commission on 20 January.

The Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC) has today published the resolution confirming that the deadline for associate professors and full professors to apply to AQU Catalunya for research and advanced research accreditation based on the criteria currently in force will be 28 February. As previously announced by AQU Catalunya on its website, in March, it will update its procedures and technological applications to align with the new criteria so that the accreditation process for associate professors and full professors can be reopened on 1 April.
From April, AQU Catalunya will apply the criteria approved by the Research Assessment Commission (CAR) on 20 January to adapt the accreditation process to the new requirements set out in the Organic Law on the University System (LOSU). The new criteria for accrediting associate professors (research accreditation according to Law 1/2003) and full professors (advanced research accreditation according to Law 1/2003) have been designed to be more plural than the previous criteria and more specifically tailored to each field of knowledge. They also introduce new measures for qualitatively assessing teaching, research and, where applicable, knowledge transfer merits.
