UdL Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism obtains institutional accreditation
All official university degrees taught at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism of the University of Lleida have been automatically accredited for a period of six years, as established by Royal Decree 640/2021. AQU Catalunya has also issued favourable reports on the validation of a bachelor's degree in Digital Design and Creative Technologies and a university master's degree in Plant Genetics, Genomics and Breeding, which the University of Lleida will be able to teach as of the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism of the University of Lleida has been institutionally accredited with a favourable accreditation report from AQU Catalunya. This is the first of the University of Lleida's centres to obtain this accreditation.
Catalan universities and AQU Catalunya are working to promote institutional accreditation in the period 2022-2024 in order to replace the degree-by-degree accreditation process for training programmes. In this way, university autonomy is strengthened, the assessment load is reduced and efficiency is increased for the entire Catalan university system. The Catalan Higher Education System has 49 institutionally accredited centres.
AQU Catalunya has also issued favourable reports on the validation of the bachelor's degree in Digital Design and Creative Technologies taught by the Polytechnic School and the university master's degree in Plant Genetics, Genomics and Breeding taught by the Technical School of Agricultural Engineering and Forestry and Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lleida. Once the Spanish Universities Council has issued the corresponding resolution, taking into account the reports issued by AQU Catalunya, the degree programmes may be offered as of the 2023-2024 academic year.
