The Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya has received a favourable final report on the certification of its Internal Quality Assurance System.

AQU Catalunya has certified the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. The certification of the IQAS of this faculty ensures that the system has been implemented and deployed. Furthermore, Royal Decree 640/2021 of 27 July establishes institutional accreditation, in which certification of the implementation of the IQAS plays a key role: it is a necessary prerequisite for obtaining it. For these reasons, certification of the system is of the utmost interest to Catalan universities.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics thus joins the list of faculties and departments (UPF only) at this university that have obtained IQAS certification. The reports are available on the EUC Informes portal.
