We've revamped the EUC website

AQU Catalunya has revamped the EUC website (Estudis Universitaris de Catalunya) to better meet the information needs of users.
Together with the web portal's public interface, which already existed and provides information on the quality of recognised degree courses at universities in Catalonia to prospective students and families, the new version of the website contains a private interface that displays comparative information for monitoring and quality assurance procedures for use by programme quality managers at learning providers (higher education institutions) in Catalonia and members of QA review panels at AQU Catalunya.
In addition to visual and technological improvements, another important new feature is that the EUC search tool filters and sorts the results according to the field of study, subject and institution; according to a programme's level of excellence (indicated by a sign); and whether the learning provider is a public or private institution.
Each degree programme (bachelor's, master's and PhD/doctoral) has its own entry with:
- quality assurance and accreditation outcomes, from AQU Catalunya,
- a link to the corresponding QA review reports on the EUC Informes website,
- a link to the course website, provided by institution itself,
- basic information on the degree programme, provided by the Secretariat for Universities and Research's course registry,
- indicators specifically selected on:
- The employment outcomes of graduates from survey studies carried out by AQU Catalunya; trends in the employment situation; type of contract; graduate job duties and responsibilities; gross monthly earnings; and inclination to take the same degree again.
- Access, admission and registration data, provided by the universities' UNEIX information system, coordinated by the Secretariat for Universities and Research, including changes in the admission index, first choice demand, full-time students and pathway of admission.
- Academic and teaching staff outcomes, also provided by UNEIX, including the number of credits earned out of the total number of enrolled credits, completion and award of the degree in the expected time period, courses and credits taught by post-doctoral teaching staff, the percentage of students who change course in the first year, and the first year drop-out rate.
The new EUC website replaces the earlier EUC Estudis web portal and incorporates the WINDDAT (2012) website, used to display calculated indicators required in quality assurance procedures and which will disappear once the transition to the new EUC portal has been completed, together with the EUC Informes (2016) and EUC Dades (2017) websites.
The new website has been produced in coordination with the Government of Catalonia's Secretariat for Universities and Research.
