ENQA panel visit for international external review of compliance with ESG concludes
The visit of the external review panel started on Wednesday 23 February, with an interview with the Agency's management team, comprising the director, president and secretary of AQU Catalunya, and continued with a meeting with some of the representatives of the Agency's internal coordination committee (senior management team), and members of the Agency staff from the enhancement areas selected in this targeted review. This was followed by an interview with the people in charge of the most representative of the Agency's external quality assessment projects (VSMA framework, certification of the Internal Quality Assurance System, Short Term Programmes, European Approach and appeals), and the day ended with interviews with the representatives of the AQU Catalunya review, governance and advisory bodies: the Institutional and Programme Assessment Commission, the Governing Council and the Advisory Committee, respectively.
Thursday 24 February was the second day of virtual hearings: The day began with an interview with government representatives and continued with two interviews with members of the universities assessed by AQU Catalunya: on the one hand, the vice-rectors, as representatives of the institution, and on the other, members of the technical quality units, as people involved in the processes of evaluation of the quality of AQU Catalunya. Following a break, the interviews continued with the Agency's reviewers and ended with an interview with representatives of the company with which AQU Catalunya collaborates.
The visit concluded on Friday 25 February with an internal meeting where the preliminary conclusions obtained from the various interviews were presented.
