Graduate satisfaction regarding the gender perspective
This report analyses the satisfaction of bachelor’s and master’s graduates from the Catalan university system —from the 2022–2023 academic year and surveyed in 2024— regarding the incorporation of the gender perspective into their studies. The study is based on the annual Bachelor and Master's graduate satisfaction survey (launched in 2015) and includes a specific module with responses from 5,652 bachelor’s graduates and 3,440 master’s graduates, allowing different aspects of their learning experience related to this perspective to be measured.
The module includes six questions on issues such as the presence of female role models, the use of inclusive language, and the absence of stereotypes in teaching materials, with ratings from 0 to 5 according to the level of satisfaction. The data obtained make it possible to generate useful indicators to identify areas for improvement and guide stakeholders in the university system in enhancing quality, as well as to analyse differences between educational subfields to better understand how these gaps are distributed across fields of knowledge.
