The assessment of the design of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia was carried out in accordance with the Guide to IQAS certification in higher education institutions (8th edition, 2023). The guide was adapted to fit the needs of the Cooperative University of Colombia, as documented in the cooperation agreement signed by the Agency and the UCC. Among other things, the agreement specifies that the design of the IQAS, rather than its implementation, will be reviewed. It also stipulates that the review will focus on the university rather than the institution.
