ShareAQU Catalunya Publishes Report on ‘Graduate Satisfaction with the Gender Perspective in Their Studies’
In the study, the Agency analyses the level of satisfaction among bachelor’s and master’s graduates with the gender perspective incorporated into their studies after completing their programmes.

AQU Catalunya has published today the report ‘Graduate Satisfaction with the Gender Perspective in Their Studies’, which examines the satisfaction of bachelor’s and master’s graduates from the Catalan university system regarding the gender perspective integrated into their studies. The report is based on the Recent Graduates Satisfaction Survey, conducted annually by the Agency since 2015, and draws on responses from 5,652 bachelor’s graduates and 3,440 master’s graduates who completed the survey’s specific module on gender perspective.
This module includes a total of six questions addressing different aspects of the integration of a gender perspective into bachelor’s and master’s programmes. For example, respondents are asked whether their studies included academic contributions from leading women in the field, and whether the content of teaching materials and the language used are inclusive and free from stereotypes. Responses are rated on a scale from 0 to 5, indicating the level of satisfaction with each item from lowest to highest.
The information collected is used to generate indicators that help the various stakeholders in the Catalan university system better identify areas for improvement and continue advancing the quality of higher education in Catalonia. In addition, the data gathered through this specific survey on gender perspective can be consulted by educational subfields, making it possible to identify how opportunities for improvement in this area are distributed unevenly across different fields of knowledge.
This study on graduates’ satisfaction with the gender perspective of their university studies was carried out as a one-off exercise with graduates from 2024. The study’s conclusions can be consulted here.
