AQU Catalunya publishes the guidelines for the drafting of the 'Student Report'
With the involvement of the Student Council of Catalan Universities (CEUCAT), this document is aimed at students who are required to draft this report, which will be included in the accreditation of degree programmes and centres.

Today, AQU Catalunya has published the document Guidelines for preparing the 'Student Report' for the accreditation of degree programmes and centres. The document is designed to assist students when drafting the Student Report. This is an independent report drawn up by the students on the degree programmes or centres to be accredited, which accompanies, as additional evidence, the self-report on accreditation issued by the Self-Assessment Committee (CAI).
The guidelines explain what the student report should contain, the procedure to be followed and the deadlines to be met. Furthermore, there are two proposed report templates, one for the accreditation of centres and the other for the accreditation of degree programmes, which are designed to help the students coordinating the report. Both the document and the two templates are available on this web page, which was created ad hoc to present the Student Report and help the student body to draft it.
The report is based on international initiatives considered to be best practices in the field of quality assurance and aims to promote student participation in accreditation processes. The pilot phase of the project took place between 2019 and 2023, with the involvement of the Catalan Universities Student Council (CEUCAT) and the AQU Catalunya Student Committee. The pilot experiences have been carried out in the accreditation visits of some degrees from the University of Barcelona, the University of Girona and the University of Lleida and the first centre that has requested the renewal of institutional accreditation in Catalonia, the Faculty of Social Education and Social Work Pere Tarrés at the Ramon Llull University.
Based on the experience gained during the pilot phase, the project's methodological documentation has been consolidated throughout 2024 and approved by the Agency's Institutional and Programme Review Commission. The documentation published today coincides with the beginning of a course in which the number of centres that will renew institutional accreditation is expected to increase, a process that includes by default the Student Report.
