ShareAQU Catalunya’s Director takes part in the course Rediseñando la Universidad: Inteligencia Artificial (IA), Aprendizaje Dual y Microcredenciales del Futuro

For the second consecutive year, Universidad San Jorge in Zaragoza has become the venue for the Complutense University of Madrid Summer Courses. Within this framework, the course Rediseñando la Universidad: Inteligencia Artificial (IA), Aprendizaje Dual y Microcredenciales del Futuro was held, with the participation of Mercè Gisbert, Director of AQU Catalunya. Taking an integrated approach, the course offers a space for reflection and strategic analysis to understand the key drivers of the transformation currently taking place in higher education, the main challenges involved, and the trends that are reshaping universities.
Specifically, Gisbert took part in the round table Acreditación institucional: gobernanza, calidad y posicionamiento estratégico, together with Cristina Rodríguez, Director of the Agency for University Quality and Foresight of Aragon, and Federico Morán, Director of the Madri+d Foundation. The discussion focused on the role of institutional accreditation as a key instrument for ensuring and improving university quality from an institutional and strategic perspective. Gisbert and the other speakers analysed its principles, benefits and core requirements, as well as its relationship with strengthening university autonomy and the capacity of institutions to define and implement their own academic projects.
The participants also examined the relationship between institutional accreditation, quality assurance, external trust and the international visibility of universities. The aim of the session was to provide an integrated view of institutional accreditation as a strategic element in university transformation processes.
