Criteria for the assessment of degree programmes in distance and blended teaching format published
The approved document sets out the criteria to be met when the assessed degree programme offers distance and blended learning.

The Institutional and Programme Review Commission(CAIP) approved the Criteria for the assessment of degree programmes in distance or blended teaching format.
The document collects and systematises the main assessment criteria that, in an atomised way, were already present in AQU Catalunya's methodological guides (mainly the guides to the validation and accreditation of official bachelor's and master's degree programmes) referring to distance learning.
Its preparation also took into account the requirement that the criteria be in line with that established in the main reference documents, in particular Considerations for quality assurance of e-learning provision. Report from ENQA Working Group VIII on Quality Assurance and E-Learning (ENQA, 2018), and the Resolution of 6 April 2021, of the Secretariat General for Universities, approving recommendations regarding the assessment criteria and standards for the validation, modification, monitoring and renewal of the accreditation of official university bachelor's and master's degrees offered in virtual and hybrid teaching formats.
AQU Catalunya is currently working on a new document for the FOCUS: Tools for university quality collection, which will incorporate and expand these criteria and will serve as support for the design, implementation and assessment of degrees in distance and blended teaching formats.
