ShareFavourable assessment for cross-cutting elements of UB, UPF and UdL IQAS
The University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Lleida have all obtained favourable assessments for the cross-cutting elements of the internal quality assurance systems (IQAS) in their centres.
AQU Catalunya assesses the cross-cutting elements of the internal quality assurance systems (SGIQ) implemented in educational centres as a previous step to facilitate and simplify the subsequent IQAS certification process.
IQAS certification ensures the proper functioning of, at least, the continuous improvement mechanisms that form part of programme verification, monitoring, modification and accreditation processes.
Up to now, AQU Catalunya had favourably assessed the cross-cutting elements of the UAB, URV and URL IQAS.
These favourable reports on the UB, UPF and UdL are available on the portal EUC Reports:
IQAS-certified centres that have at least 50% of bachelor's degree programmes and 50% of master's degree programmes accredited can apply for institutional accreditation. Those that have not yet reached this percentage of accredited programmes are exempt from submitting additional documentation relating to the quality assurance systems in the AQU Catalunya verification, modification and accreditation processes.
