ShareFirst call for research and advanced research accreditation 2021 open
Those interested should submit their application online from 12 April to 7 May 2021, inclusive. The new criteria approved by the Research Assessment Committee (CAR) are being applied in this call.
Today we open the first call for applications for research accreditation and advanced research accreditation 2021 prior to the Catalan universities' selection processes. Research accreditation paves the way for being hired as an associate professor, and the advanced research accreditation, for being hired as a full professor.
Applicants must:
- Be in possession of a doctorate.
- Demonstrate proven research capacity with a minimum postdoctoral research background of three years. For this purpose, the date of the reading of the doctoral thesis will be considered as the beginning of the postdoctoral period. Applications from people with a postdoctoral background of less than three years will not be accepted.
- Accredit at least three years' teaching and research activity or, as a priority, postdoctoral research (article 47 of the LUC). And, for advanced research accreditation, it is necessary to have research accreditation issued by AQU Catalunya.
In addition, it should be borne in mind that in this call the new criteria for the issue of research accreditations and of advanced research accreditations 2021, approved by the Research Assessment Committee will apply. The former include modifications in the field of Medical and Health Sciences. More specifically, in the subfields of Nursing and Physiotherapy. The latter include modifications to the criteria in the field of Engineering and Architecture.
