This year, 1,430 applications have been submitted for the assessment of research merits (sexennials) of non-civil servant teaching and research staff in Catalan public universities, of which 1,076 are in the process of being reviewed for assessment.
AQU Catalunya assesses the research activity of non-civil servant teaching and research staff (PDI) at Catalan public universities for the purposes of additional remuneration.
The number of applications in this 2022 call for assessment of non-civil servant PDI research merits has increased significantly with respect to the previous year. One of the possible reasons is the stabilisation of university teaching staff contracts according to category in recent years.
