Registration open for online seminar on the challenges of university training in Early Childhood and Primary Education
AQU Catalunya will present the results of schools' opinion of the training of new graduate teachers

The external university quality assessment agencies of Aragon, Castile and Leon, Andalusia, the Canary Islands, the Basque Country and Catalonia have jointly organised the third seminar in the series of online conferences on the challenges in university education according to the opinion of the employer group.
This third seminar focuses on the Education sector and more specifically on the training of preschool and primary schoolteachers. It aims to:
- Offer a general updated view of the main challenges of university training in Early Childhood and Primary Education from the perspective of the employer group.
- Present the opinion of the employer group on the suitability of university training in Education based on a case study carried out in Catalonia.
- Debate on what should be the specific areas for improvement of university training in Early Childhood and Primary Education. To fuel the debate, the agencies will show the overall results of the assessments of these degrees.
The seminar is aimed at vice-chancellors, people with responsibilities linked to Early Childhood and Primary Education degrees, staff of quality agencies and university technical units, employers in the field of education (schools), members of the Government, students and graduates.
