AQU Catalunya has certified the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the School of Agri-Food and Biosystems Engineering of the Technical University of Catalonia. The IQAS certification of this centre ensures that the system is implemented and deployed. On the other hand, the Royal Decree 640/2021, of 27 July, establishes institutional accreditation, in which the certification of IQAS implementation plays a key role. It is the necessary preliminary step to be able to opt for it. For these reasons, the certification of the system is of maximum interest for Catalan universities.
