Working group set up to develop the benchmarks for bachelor's degrees in Law and master's degrees in Legal Practice
AQU Catalunya has set up a working group to develop the benchmarks to be met by bachelor's degrees in Law and master's degrees in Legal Practice.

The working group is charged with developing a framework that, in the case of the university master's degree in Legal Practice, is to include transforming the skills stipulated in the regulations into learning outcomes to be achieved by graduates. The group's activity will be in two phases, as follows:
In phase one, it will analyse the regulation on access to regulated professions in the law and will adapt the skills to be acquired through the training to the learning outcomes expressed as knowledge, skills and competencies. This information will be used in the development of benchmarks for the master's degrees in Legal Practice including, inter alia, the nature and scope of the course, reference levels in accordance with the Catalan Higher Education Qualifications Framework and the learning outcomes to be achieved by graduates. In phase two, the working group will develop the benchmarks for the bachelor's degrees in Law with the same objectives.
The working group is headed by Dr Dolores Cervilla Garzón, expert in private law, with members Dr Alicia Chicharro Lázaro, expert in international public law and international relations; Dr Vicente Garrido Mayol, expert in constitutional law; and Dr Núria Mallandrich Miret, expert in procedural law.
Its first meeting was held in September and the benchmarks are expected to be presented in January 2023.
