Specific Commission for Institutional Assessment
The Institutional and Programme Review Commission (CAIP) assumes the functions of the Specific Commission for Certification of the Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Systems:
- Issue of institutional accreditation reports, in accordance with the current regulations and the procedures approved by the CAIP.
- Issue of assessment reports in relation to the authorisation processes of centres that provide education in accordance with foreign educational systems.
- Certification of the internal quality assurance systems of universities, their centres and higher education institutions.
- The certification of the internal quality assurance systems of centres that offer lifelong learning.
- Any other type of institutional assessment in the field of higher education.
The Specific Commission for Institutional Assessment is made up of the following:
- Glòria González Anadón, president (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
- Antonio J. Calleja Rodríguez (academic member, Universidad de Oviedo)
- Sebastián Chávez De Diego (academic member, Universidad de Sevilla)
- Ana Belén Escrig Tena (academic member, Universitat Jaume I)
- Milagros Fernández Pérez (academic member, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela)
- Enric Brull Alabart (professional member)
- Meritxell Romans Casas (student membe, Universitat de Girona)
- Albert Basart Capmany, secretary (AQU Catalunya)
The creation of this Commission has led to the cessation of the activity of the Specific Commission for Certification of the Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Systems.
