AQU Catalunya opens today the calls for assessment and recognition of the research merits of teaching and research staff 2024
The Agency will have both calls open from 25 June to 12 July, allowing university teaching staff to apply for the assessment and recognition of research merits.

AQU Catalunya is opening today a new round of calls for assessment and recognition of research merits, known as the six-year assessment of teaching and research staff. After the Research Assessment Commission has approved the calls, the Agency will process applications starting today from teaching and research staff (PDI) of public universities, permanent doctoral research staff (UAB and UPC) of Catalan public universities, PDI of private universities and affiliated centres, Ramon y Cajal and Beatriz Galindo research staff (PI) of public universities in Catalonia and Tenure Track teaching staff of the Pompeu Fabra University.
As in previous editions, applicants may apply research merits assessment and/or the recognition of research merits evaluated by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI) and by AQU Catalunya. Applicants can fill in their shortened CV automatically from the data contained in the Catalan Research Portal. For this reason, teachers are recommended to update the information available on the Catalan Research Portal before starting the application. To apply correctly, you can follow the instructions in this video, which is in the process of being revised because the format of the applications has changed but contains valid information because the content is still valid. You can find the criteria applied in the research activity assessment of teaching and research staff at Catalan public universities to allocate additional bonuses for research merits here.
