AQU Catalunya's Student Advisory Committee holds its last meeting of the year
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the various activities the committee has taken part in throughout 2024.

The AQU Catalunya Student Advisory Committee held its last meeting of 2024 online. After taking stock of the different activities in which it has participated throughout 2024, the committee focused on matters such as the latest edition of the Training for Students in University Quality Assurance course and the reappointment of committee members. The meeting also provided information to the committee members concerning the student reports for the accreditation of centres 2024-2025.
On the Training for Students in University Quality Assurance course, organised in collaboration with CEUCAT, the committee emphasised how important training is as a means of promoting student involvement in the quality of the Catalan Higher Education system. A positive assessment was also made regarding participation in the course, which attracted 90 applicants from different Catalan universities for the 30 places on offer. Given the level of interest in this training course, the committee highlighted the need for the initiative to be continued with new courses in the future.
The committee was then informed of the reappointment of five of its members, who had been appointed in November 2022. At present, these members must be reappointed because committee members can only be appointed for two years after the appointment of the AQU Catalunya director. The meeting also provided information to the members on how the In studient reports for the accreditation of centres 2024-2025 are progressingt.
