Executive report on the activity of the Research Assessment Commission 2021 published
The report aims to give account of the Research Assessment Commission's activities in 2021.

Every year AQU Catalunya draws up a report on the activity of the Research Assessment Commission (CAR), which is presented by the Commission president to the Agency's Governing Council as an accountability report.
The executive report states that the year 2021 has continued to be conditioned by the impact of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, but that both the CAR and its specific commissions have not ceased their activity, and have adapted their action to the constraints caused by the pandemic. It is also worth noting the efforts of the specific commissions to be able to resolve the accumulation of files due to the state of emergency declared the previous year.
In addition to managing the different calls for teaching staff assessment, the CAR's activity in 2020 focused on:
- Approval of a modification of the public criteria in reference to bad practices caused by certain publications.
- Monitoring the signing of the DORA and the incorporation of an explanatory preamble to assessment criteria.
- Conclusion of the splitting of the Specific Commission for Social Sciences.
- Recognition of six-year periods of knowledge transfer and innovation and their assessment.
- Analysis of the impact of Law 17/2020, of 22 December, amending Law 5/2008, on the right of women to eradicate gender-based violence, on the CAR's activity.
- Review of the criteria for the specific commissions.
- Follow-up on the Singular Area concept established by the CAR.
- Support for the Jaume Serra Húnter Programme (SHP).
