The approved changes are to take effect in the second call of 2021
The Specific Committee dealing with Humanities of the Research Assessment Committee (CAR) has agreed to modify the public criteria for the assessment of tenure-eligible lecturers. This review is based on the work done in modifying advanced search criteria. The main feature is the incorporation of qualitative elements ahead of the more quantitative approach in force up to now. This modification lends greater consistency to the transition between accreditation as a tenure-eligible lecturer, research accreditation and advanced research accreditation.
These changes will take effect in the second call of 2021, which will open from 20 September 2021 to 15 October 2021, inclusive.
