Today the AQU Catalunya Research Assessment Commission has opened five new calls for assessment and recognition of research merit and activity (sexennials). They are as follows: :
- The call for civil servant teaching and research staff (PDI) at public universities
- The call for non-civil servant PDI at private universities
- The call for PDI at affiliated centres
- The call for research staff (PI) at public universities
- The call for Ramon y Cajal and Beatriz Galindo research staff (PI) at public universities
As was the case last year, applicants may request either assessment of research merits or recognition of the research merits assessed by the National Research Activity Assessment Committee (CNEAI) and by AQU Catalunya. This is the case, for example, of research teaching staff (PDI) from a private university who move to a public university.
Those applying for assessment can automatically fill in their short CV based on the data contained on the Portal de la Recerca de Catalunya (PRC). Therefore, we recommend that teaching staff update the information available on the PCR before starting their application. To make the request correctly, follow the instructions in the video.
The assessment criteria applied are published in the DOGC:
RESOLUCIÓ REU/4134/2022, of 27 December, publicising the specific criteria for assessment of the research activity of teaching and research staff in Catalan public universities for the allocation of salary supplements for research merits.
