The prize from AQU Catalunya’s satisfaction survey is now with its new owner. The entrants in the draw were all students who had recently completed their bachelor’s and master’s degree studies, and the lucky winner was university student Viviana Erazo Erazo. A total of 5,457 students in the Catalan Higher Education System responded to the AQU Catalunya survey and, as a result, were entered into the draw. Erazo won an iPhone 14, which she collected yesterday at AQU Catalunya’s headquarters from the Agency’s director, Jaume Valls Pasola. Since 2021, when the Agency first decided to encourage participation in the survey with the chance to win a prize, the number of respondents has increased, and, therefore, the results obtained are more representative.
Catalan universities have been collaborating with AQU Catalunya since 2015 to conduct a survey assessing the satisfaction levels of recent bachelor’s degree graduates, and in 2017, a survey was launched to evaluate master’s degree programmes as well. In 2019, for the first time, degree and master’s level arts courses were also included in the survey. The survey provides AQU Catalunya with key indicators that facilitate improvements to teaching and learning, services and facilities, and the overall impact on students. In other words, the results of the satisfaction survey help the various stakeholders in the Catalan Higher Education System to make informed decisions on how to improve the different courses offered. The surveys sent to students can be consulted here. The rules of the prize draw are available here.
