Research period assessment procedure modified
From 2024 onwards, the minimum score required to pass AQU Catalunya research period assessment will be six points, equalling this score to that established by the ANECA-CNEAI research period assessment procedure.

Last July, the AQU Catalunya Research Assessment Commission approved the finalization of the process to align the assessment of the research activity of civil servant and non-civil servant teaching and research staff with the assessment procedure applied by the National Research Activity Assessment Committee (ANECA-CNEAI).
The main change is that a minimum of six points of the total average for a six-year research period will now be required to obtain a favourable assessment.
This change will be applied by the specific assessment commissions in the 2024 calls. For the calls for 2023, the current threshold of five points is maintained.
