Application submissions
The university must submit the degree programme accreditation application to the ministry responsible for universities 6 months before the deadline for renewing the accreditation. Once accepted, the application is forwarded to AQU Catalunya, which must issue a decision within a maximum period of 6 months.
Two months before the visit, the university must submit:
- A self-assessment report analysing the implementation of the curriculum, taking into account the assessment criteria and dimensions.
- Evidence and indicators, to determine the degree to which the dimensions have been met.
- Improvement plan (for the centre and/or the degree programmes), which outlines and sets the timeframe for the actions to be taken.
As complementary and optional evidence, the accreditation process may include the student report, an independent report prepared by the students of the degree programmes to be accredited and sent directly by the students themselves to AQU Catalunya.
