Micro-credential assessment model and university equity indicators project presented at the INQAAHE Biennial Conference in Astana, Kazakhstan
AQU Catalunya took part in the 17th Biannual Conference organised by the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), presenting the micro-credential assessment model and the development project of a system of indicators for equity assessment in the university system in Catalonia (SUC).

From 29 May to 1 June 2023, the 17th Biannual Conference organised by the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, under the title "Roadmap to Enabling Quality in Tertiary Education 2023".
Esther Huertas, head of the Quality Assurance Department, presented the micro-credentials assessment model implemented by AQU Catalunya. Huertas also took part in the round table "Fostering quality of flexible learning pathways" in which she contributed her vision of how micro-credentials can contribute to the flexibility of learning pathways.
Anna Prades and Josep Lluís Mateos, head and project manager of the Internationalisation and Knowledge Generation Department respectively, gave the presentation "Fostering the equity agenda in quality assurance: the development of a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) indicator system in Catalonia” at the multi-speaker Core Values session. In the presentation, AQU Catalunya described the methodology and conceptual framework for the development of a catalogue of indicators to measure equity in the university system in Catalonia and a preliminary proposal for indicators and reflected on the role that can be played by external review systems to promote equity.
